In The Twinkling Of An Eye

(Based on Luke 7: 36-50)

"One autum day I was with 3 friends in my car just enjoying ourselves. The intersection light was green, so I just kept going through. In a split second, I heard a big noise, felt a strong push on my left side and everything turned black. Someone had run the red light.

Dizzy, I opened my eyes; there was smoke all over, the airbag was in my face. I got out and saw my car in someone's front yard. I was shaking, and thought: I could have died…"

This is a true story…and a very common experience; in the twinkling of an eye you face the door to eternity.

When you cross that door and die; do you know where will your soul go, or…you're not sure?

Jeasus Chist said: "…he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgement, but has passed from death to life" (John 5:24)*

Accept the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross for you; ask Him to forgive all your sins.

Receive Him as your personal Saviour and when you die and pass the door to eternity, you will come into His Kingdom, to be with Him for ever.

Jesus Christ said: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16)*

Ask Jesus Christ to forgive you, saying to Him the following words…with all your heart!

"Lord Jesus Christ, I believe you died in the cross for me and you were resurrected the third day.

I am a sinner, please forgive all my past sins. I repent of all and every one of them.

I receive You as my Lord and Savior. I give my life to You and ask to be in your Kingdom with You, when I die. Thank you for saving me today.

I pray all this, in The Name of Jesus Christ my Saviour. Amen"

*Get a Bible and start reading it, asking for the guidance of The Holy Spirit.

You can simply say:

"Holy Spirit of God, please guide me in the reading of The Bible today".
